As the science teacher instructs the classroom on the understanding of the different parts of the human cell, the Ringling student artist draws the “layers” on tracing paper and helps the students with their own drawings. After all the layers are complete, the tracings build upon each other to demonstrate how the figure isn’t just separate independent parts, but separate parts working together.

This project will help students understand biology on a new level; instead of just seeing the whole system in a book they can actually see it being built and understand how it all works together.
